Summary of Position: AMG Titanium Alloys and Coatings, LLC produces metal alloys in New Castle, Pennsylvania for Aerospace and other industries. This production position covers experience levels ranging from entry level to experienced manufacturing employees. The job includes safe operation of a wide variety of production operations including but not limited to furnaces. Knowledge of the metals industry is desired but not required. Compensation will be based on the type and level of experience, and a competitive benefit package is provided with this position. Relocation assistance is not included, and the job is subject to successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.

Primary Duties of Position:
- Ensures safe and clean workplace and stops production if required for safety
- Responsible for adherence to all plant safety rules
- Clean all the equipment: hoppers, mixing equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment
- Responsible to stop production of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
- Follows quality methodologies
- Complete all paperwork and/or computer entry correctly, fully and accurately
- Monitor and keep records of the settings and conditions
- After training, responsible for the operation of furnaces, production equipment and/or material handling equipment in a manner to prevent personal injury or equipment damage
- Start up, shut down and set up production as needed
- Ensure that all containers are properly identified
- Weigh the finished product, label it, band and store the material for shipment
- Responsible for accurate reporting of production and scrap data
- Responsible for performance of routine daily/weekly preventative maintenance
- Writes work requests as needed and complete all required daily and weekly checklists

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to meet the requirements to perform visual inspection such as passing a vision and color blindness test
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must be able to lift 33 lbs.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime
- Must be able to work at any of the 2 plants
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs and to stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
- After training, must be able to pass a forklift operations test
- The candidate must be able to read, write and understand safety standards, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and heat sheets with minimum direction.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred – compensation based on level of experience
- Prior metals industry experience preferred
- Prior experience with a fork truck preferred

- Extreme temperature changes possible
