General Summary: The Director, National Accounts is responsible for managing and nurturing the ULTA key account relationship across all Guthy|Renker brands.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Objectives

Work with Brand and Retail Marketing to create a robust annual marketing plan that protects existing revenue and identifies growth opportunities.
Responsible for working with Education to create a seasonal client journey and in-store experience architecture that leads to conversion.
Analyze sales data to identify weaknesses and opportunities in our sales strategy.
Understand the competitive landscape including dot.com beauty retailers to provide proper feedback loop to the team.
Cultivate a strong retailer relationship that maximizes our opportunities and ensures that our brands stay top of mind.
Collaborate with Creative team to create an exciting visual presence that will stand out on shelf.
Execution

Ability to work cross functionally with brand, channel marketing, R&D, supply chain, planning and operations teams.
Manage relationship with 3rd party/outsourced field service vendors to profitably maximize training, education and fields sales support.
Diligently monitor product and sample forecasting and sales models with internal teams to ensure proper in stock rates.
Execute all aspects of the seasonal planogram updates.
Responsible for ULTA P&L including sales forecasting and reforecasting
Lead, develop and own relationship with the retailer
Close relationship with retail partners to ensure growth goals are met
o Participation in marketing/advertising opportunities (sampling, retailer.com, social, loyalty etc.)
o Responsible for product assortment (including potential retailer exclusives), promotions and pricing strategy
o Work with retail planners to ensure inventory levels maximize sales
o Ensure premium POG space and location
Expecting 25-35% of time spent traveling to meet with retail partners (corporate buying offices) and in field (instore relationships)

Experience and Skills:
Bachelor Degree
10+ years of relevant experience (Beauty, Sales, Account Management)
Successful sales track record in beauty industry. Sephora or ULTA experience a plus
Strong negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Analytical and strategic
Organized, attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Passion to win, sense of urgency and results oriented
