Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee a team of Service Technicians, dispatchers and sales personnel. The perfect candidate is a team player with the willingness to go above and beyond.
Duties
- Oversee, direct and assist Dispatchers, Account Rep’s and Service Technicians in day-to-day operations.
- Manage/evaluate personnel to determine hiring, training, support, discipline and lay-off decisions.
- Complete time cards to ensure appropriate timekeeping.
- Record-keeping of all inventory, tools and vehicles.
- Monitor preventative maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper operation.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure that proper procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
- Have a strong understanding of industry regulations, laws and restrictions to ensure technicians adhere to them.
- Ensure appropriate technician selection for the coordination of commercial PFC, start-up and commissioning assist.
- Have an understanding of financial and revenue goals to ensure the department successfully meets or exceeds goals set.
- Provide exceptional customer service with the ability to resolve customer issues and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Commercial and Residential HVAC Service experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical functions, components, installation and operations
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing crews
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean and safe driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
