Summary Perform recruitment and job placement activities of organization by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Implements programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, testing, selection, and job placement.
Develops sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting phone interviews, administering tests, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
Interviews candidates for open positions.
Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.
Determines internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
Develops and manages Internship and Internal Posting programs.
Develops and manages on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence.
Uses automated resume and applicant tracking systems.
Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, and promotions with knowledge of recent separations.
Works with Event Recruiter to maintain event staffing schedules.
Other duties may be assigned
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience One to two years of related staffing experience required.

This position requires that the person be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Knowledge of MainGate and department operations (including understanding company and department policies, processes and procedures).
Ability to defuse escalated situations while remaining poised under pressure.
Must have strong PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
