What You'll Do:
Senior Accountants work in a fast-paced environment on concurrent client engagements to provide business and financial analysis to support and inform strategic decision making for client accounts. They develop financial controls and accounting policies and procedure, organize and manage the finance department, establish schedules for compiling, processing, and reporting financial data, and supervise related finance staff.
Some specific responsibilities include maintaining GL entries, preparing cash flow forecasts, reconciling balance sheets, assisting with budget and annual audit preparations, and preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results.
What We're Looking For:
Successful candidates will have a BA/BS, 5 years related experience in small to mid-sized organization, excellent working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets, and experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial data to senior management. Additionally, you'll be proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software, MS Excel and MS Word. You'll have exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to coach and develop others. This position requires travel to clients in various communities in the Greater Boston area.
