Florida/ Fusion Autism Center is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Resource Center in Lake Mary, FL. The Financial Analyst collects and translates data into actionable analysis for the Finance department. The analyst will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data in order to drive clinical and operational decision-making.

Conducting special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action
Analyzing financial information to determine present and future financial performance
Coordinating with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
Providing intensive research, data mining and data mapping

How do I know my experience is a good fit?
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field
Have a minimum of 2 years in a data analytics role; preferably in the healthcare industry
Have a proven ability to work with complex data analytics; proficient in analytic best practice
Have strong analytical skills and an understanding of system databases, data elements, and application software solutions to maximize data gathering and data analysis
Are able to function independently, communicate effectively and possess excellent time management skills
Possess strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills; ability to create presentations and collaborate with others to consolidate and present data in the appropriate format based on the audience
Possess exceptional Microsoft Excel skills; including but not limited to pivot tables, lookup functions and other advanced features; experience with Power BI is preferred but not required
Are proficient with relational database technologies and theories
Are able to work independently on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines
Have a solid ability to write clear, detailed communications deliverables using professional language and correct grammar, structure, syntax, etc.
