Job description
The role of Sales Support Specialist is to assist the sales department and reply to customers as well as prospect queries. We are looking for an experienced team member who has knowledge of customer service. You should be goal-oriented, have exceptional communication skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office. You will also contribute to building and retaining customer relationships while also ensuring efficient sales team operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage customer accounts
- Build reports with excel utilizing formulas, charts, pivot tables, etc.
- Provide the sales team with data reports and sales guidelines
- Decide and act independently within delegated areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader
- Collect and maintain accurate item specifications and product line details
- Sustain electronic and physical filing systems for storing company documents
- Some travel to trade shows is required (Spring -- up to 2 weeks, Fall -- up to 2 weeks)

Must Haves
- 1-3 years' experience as an administrative assistant
- Critical thinking skills
- Proficient knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office, Word, Excel etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
- Effective time management; maximizes productivity
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good To Have
- Hardware industry experience
- Inside or outside sales experience
- Customer service or CRM experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
