Position Summary
Garney Construction has an immediate opening for a MARKETING COORDINATOR. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We are seeking a self-motivated individual to assist with our marketing and business development program.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, write, and produce statements of qualification, proposals, and presentations
Update project information, prepare reports, and develop resumes using the Cosential project history database
Assist Business Development team with preparing and distributing marketing materials for potential clients
Assist in planning East events, exhibits, and conferences as needed
Assist with maintaining company website and social media initiatives
Assist Regional Vice Presidents and Business Development Managers with administrative duties

Qualifications & Characteristics

Minimum 1-5 years of related experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
Bachelor s Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar degree
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Experience in the architecture, engineering or construction industry is preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems, specifically Cosential, would be a plus
Individual must be able to think creatively, have excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance
Position is deadline intensive and requires acute attention to detail

Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines. The selected candidate will work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents and Business Development Managers, in addition to supporting our national marketing team.
