The Candidate should be able to perform following activities: Technical solution requirements, architecture, design, build, customize, extend, test and acceptance for WIFI systems supporting a wide variety of customers and industry verticals.

Who You Are

This person will work with Delivery, Practice, Segment and BU teams to:

  • Deliver Wireless Planning, Design, and Implementation & Optimization Services to Cisco's major accounts.
  • Perform architectural planning and design along with configuration and integration support.
  • Provide operational support for complex, wireless network deployments.
  • Understand RF principles as they relate to WIFI deployment.
  • Test and troubleshoot complex customer networks and advise them on remediation’s
Who You’ll Work With

The Team is comprised of Software Solution Architects and Developers Network Consulting Engineers who work on a customer projects to understand the customer requirements for Network Automation providing mobility access solutions, implementing Cisco’s and 3rd party Network Automation solution with required extensions and customizationWi-Fi, and Analytics offerings, integrate into existing customer’s network systems, perform Unit and Solution testing in a development environment, implement the developed solution in a customer’s production environment and then providing day-2 support for optimization.

The Team interacts with customer, Business Units and Sales team during presales activities such as Proof-Of-Concepts and project delivery. Customers include both Service Provider and Enterprise cutover segments.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in AS or high level support or Large scale Network Design Experience. Active participant in current or past teams on driving delivery methodologies. Receives assignments in the form of objectives towards long-range goals and objectives. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting AS specific initiatives. Strong understanding of all current WIFI technologies and good understanding of emerging technologies, especially Wireless LAN and Wireless Mesh technologies. Focus on technology and how to use it. Leadership and mentoring skills.

Drives and oversees the implementation of AS customer projects. Provides leadership and direction on projects for maximum customer/business impact. Typically reports to Director or Sr Mgr AS. Goals set by overall Manager. Interfaces with all levels of AS team and TAC support infrastructure, development engineering and sales teams. Partners in all areas of the company. High impact to to AS customers and AS teams. Usually participating in or leading complex WIFI network design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects. Thorough understanding of applying technology to reach desired goal. Solves complex, cross-functional issues that cross many technologies. Core understand of WIFI and how it interacts with the rest of the network and clients.

Can apply good analytic process to any issue to help come to resolution. Accountable to highest levels of senior management to ensure project commitments and AS deliverables are met. Recommends and initiates projects to benefit customers and AS wide objectives. The person should have prior experience (about 8 years) of building agile but scalable and highly available software solution for carrier grade production deployments. The person should have prior experience with large scale WIFI deployments in challenging RF environments, Cloud Computing and Dev-Ops software development. The person should have an experience with open source tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance. The person should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. The person should be self-motivated and able to work independently and/or in support of or leading small teams. WIFI CCIE certification a significant benefit.
