What you’ll do on a typical day:
Inspect finished products, those being processed, incoming materials and parts, and assemblies
Check to ensure corrective action is being taken on failed lots
Review batch record and test products for compliance to company standards
Recommend measures of corrective action in compliance to the ISO PDA plan checking criteria
Document audit findings and records in quality database system
Train and interpret process procedures, work instructions and quality bulletins with departments being audited
Provide input on changes and/or updates to work instructions/procedures
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant work experience in a quality control environment
Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; may also move materials placed on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs.
Strong documentation skills related to quality
Ability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
