Since its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company. With corporate headquarters in New Jersey, the company is on a course of growth leading to activities across the nation. Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 3,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 10,000 units in the next five years. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board.

We're currently seeking a Corporate Recruiter for our multi-family portfolio of properties, with at least 5 years of industry experience.

Candidate will work full-time in our corporate office located in Piscataway, NJ.

The Corporate Recruiter facilitates sourcing/head hunting for potential candidates, interviewing, and onboarding activities that lead up to the date of employment! Other job functions include but not limited to:

Represent Edgewood properties at Career Fairs
Post and maintaining open positions
Source and pre-screening all potential new hires
Responsible for sending and receiving all offer letters
Extensive phone/ email interactions
Serves as coordinator to hiring manager
Develop rapport and great working relationship with new hires and internal personnel.
Other related duties as assigned


Bachelor degree, preferred
5+ years’ experience in recruitment and/or Human Resources, required
Strong knowledge of employment law
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to travel to and from job fairs
Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organizational ability
Willingness to create conversation at job fairs, etc. with potential hires
Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and provide detailed documentation/ follow ups
Must work effectively under stress
Must have great time management skills and ability to switch from task to task as needed

  • Preferable exp. in Accounting and Finance, Construction and Property Management/Multi-family highly desirable.
