Job Description:
Position Overview:
The HR Manager (Manager Excellence Consultant) is focused on expanding and enabling HR support for Mid-level Managers across the enterprise. This new HR capability will be aimed at providing mid-level managers HR support to enable them to be more effective in their leadership roles, and to accelerate our progress on key strategic priorities such as organizational health, diversity and talent management. Given this is a new model, this role will also be responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of the Manager Excellence Team as it continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities:
Creates strategic plans in partnership with HR stakeholders to drive enterprise priorities
Leverages HR data to accelerate progress on key strategic priorities such as organizational health, diversity and talent management

Provide ongoing coaching and support to managers through:
Day to day personnel decisions, with a particular focus on organizational health and diversity
Identifying top and diverse talent while building plans for career development
Driving deeper adoption of key strategic priorities, processes and programs
Understanding and influencing decisions with a particular focus on risk management

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
7+ years of HR & Management experience with broad expertise across all areas of HR disciplines
Experience working directly with & consulting business leaders on HR strategy
Experience in client management around complex strategic HR issues such as talent management, development & change management
Strong analytical skills – experience gathering & organizing large amounts of data
Exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to develop strong interpersonal alliances at all levels, and connect with senior executives on both a business and a personal level
Designs, develops, and delivers on organizational development / effectiveness initiatives focused on improving performance, productivity, and team cohesiveness
Broad business acumen with a strategic mindset to uncover hidden opportunities to improve manager capabilities and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability as an enterprise/global thought leader who can proactively drive change and innovation
Leads talent planning initiatives, including critical assessment of talent and resource rationalization
A proven track record in developing strategy and driving change to help drive business results and execute on key initiatives
Knows how to use and leverage: Excel and PowerPoint, Workday, OrgVue, Tableau, Learning resources, etc.
High level of integrity and objectivity to ensure proper outcomes are obtained; ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion

Intellectually curious; constantly seeks to learn and advance his/her knowledge
Ability to prioritize work and deliver consistent results
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Enterprise Role Overview:
Develops HR strategies that impact large, complex business units within a major line of business. Business units supported are generally national in scope. Develops and executes tactical plans at the business unit level to achieve strategic objectives. Combines strong organizational development skills and change management skills with core HR skills (staffing, compensation, associate relations) to help the business achieve its objectives
