Business Program Advising/College of Business and Management (COBM)
Minimum of 1 year in higher education advising, coaching, tutoring, or mentoring students, both one-on-one counseling role and in group settings
Demonstrated work experience and ability to present information to groups and/or facilitate workshops

Under direction of the College's Advising and Outreach Coordinator, the Program/Student Advisor serves as mentor/coach to COBM undergraduate students, focusing primarily on students below 60 credit hours (i.e. freshmen and sophomores). Paying special attention to early alert warning systems, the advisor works closely with university resources to ensure a higher retention of at-risk students. Also assists with on an off campus recruiting activities.
$20.00 per hour
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Some evenings/weekends required, when applicable
