Position Summary

We are looking for an Entry- Mechanical Engineer to join our future. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with HVAC load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating HVAC equipment sizes, selecting HVAC equipment, completing field surveys, and preparing CAD drawings. Additional duties also include traveling to project sites for assisting in mechanical system installation, reviewing shop drawings, and performing construction administration functions.

Minimum Requirements

ABET Accredited College Degree (B.S, in Mechanical Engineering)

U.S. Citizen

0-3 years of experience

Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD (SolidWorks Preferred)

Strong communications skills, both written and oral

Computer proficiency, especially on common software packages (MS Office, etc.)

Self-starter; able to work independently

Willingness to learn

Comfortable with shop and hand tools


Active US Security Clearance

EIT (Engineering in Training)

Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics Software

Proficient with basic shop tools

Experience with Engineering Calculation Software such as Trane Trace or Carrier HAP

AutoCAD Experience
