Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that our facilities are safe and well-cared for.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Assist with office event projects as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with the move furniture and equipment as required
- Perform custodial duties to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor machines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Good physical condition to perform tasks that involve lifting and bending
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in floor care including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices
