Full Job Description
When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough – we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our nation's information systems and infrastructure, we need strategic policy and operational procedure development. That’s why we need you, a cyber assessor specialist with the skills to analyze and update the policies and procedures that determine our cyber resilience.
Work under general supervision to formulate and define systems scope and objective through research fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Develop or modify requirements, operational SOPs and security controls for moderately complex information systems, including analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, revising existing system logic difficulties, and updating security control implementations as necessary. Work in some phases of systems analysis and consider the business and security implications of the application of technology to the business environment.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of general computer systems, information security software and hardware, network systems, databases, information security compliance and safeguards
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree

Experience in a professional work environment
Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework, NIST security recommendations and guidance
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
