As the Director of Strategic Account Management, you will be leading a team of 10 Account Managers as part of the critical mission to onboard, support, and manage a set of key Agility clients. This role along with the other sales director counterparts reports directly to the SVP of Sales who sits on the Executive Leadership Team reporting to the CEO, and is based out of our corporate headquarters in downtown Denver. We are seeking a polished account management professional who can drive repeatable client experience. The ideal candidate is a technical and strong communicator with sales experience as an individual performer and leading a team who demonstrates a passion for our mission in helping businesses survive.

Key Responsibilities:
Measure, motivate, manage, and reward Account Manager team members
Provide strategic coaching on general sales strategy, call planning, time utilization, sales process, product offerings, and value propositions
Facilitate organizational support and conflict resolution
Hire, develop, and groom team for future succession
Aid team in analyzing their territory’s market potential to identify upgrade potential
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and maintain retention
Create superior client experience focused on the timeliness of best method of follow-up, responsiveness, and setting clear expectations with client engagements
Retain and grow existing client subscriptions by analyzing business needs and offering appropriate upgraded services
Implement retention programs, price increases, and client outreach
Perform white space analysis
Identify potential segmentation challenges and other areas of opportunity
Proactive communication on the success of the Strategic Account Management department
Ensure proper execution and implementation of any new key initiatives

Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in B2B environment with preference for account management, customer success, or sales consulting background
3+ years of experience directly managing a sales team (preferably in the recurring revenue space)
Advanced analytical skills and ability to problem solve with the input and guidance from others
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to interface and coordinate work effectively with intracompany departments
Knowledge or ability to quickly learn IT, business continuity, and disaster recovery concepts
CRM experience with Salesforce.com preferred
