Snake River Pediatrics, PC, is a private group practice seeking a licensed, board certified/eligible pediatrician who is interested in working with infants and children of all ages, providing a full range of medical services. Our providers see 15-25 patients per day, depending on the time of year. Full time physicians work 4 days per week. Hospital coverage ratio is 1:4 and includes attendance for C-sections and high-risk deliveries, so knowledge of NRP and neonatal resuscitation is a must. Our community hospital is St. Alphonsus Medical Center Ontario. Sub-specialty support is readily available in Boise, including neonatology and transport. Our referral network includes St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise, and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, also located in Boise.

Ontario, Oregon is a small, quiet community of approximately 11,000 people, with a total referral area of 60,000 people. Nestled on the Oregon/Idaho border, the practice location provides the opportunity to live in either state. There are a few local schools to choose from which all have a variety of successful youth sports programs in both Oregon and Idaho. It is also a great area for the outdoor enthusiast, with incredible hunting, hiking, mountain biking, world famous trout, salmon and steelhead fishing, white water rafting, water sports, and snow skiing with 3 major resorts within a 2-hour drive. The nearby cities are ideal communities for raising a family, and the real estate market offers great values for living in a suburban or rural setting. Within a 45-minute drive, you will find Boise, Idaho. With a population of 215,000, it is a progressive city with great restaurants, stores, and a regional airport that provides direct flights to major airline hubs throughout the country.

Our compensation package is highly competitive and includes:
