Who are we looking for?

Our IQVIA Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Center of Excellence is seeking individuals who are willing to work in a contractor role performing Data Stewardship work. Following onsite training at an IQVIA office, this role may be conducted from home or at client location. IQVIA provides laptop; however if working from home internet connection and occasional phone use will be required.

The main objective of the EIM Data Steward team is to provide primary research and operational support reviewing client database information, primarily pharmaceutical vendor hierarchy and related data, and applying additions or updates as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Stewards are responsible for assessing and improving the quality of a pharmaceutical client’s vendor data (Vendors, Manufacturers, Remittance, Payees).
  • Using a combination of primary research and third-party reference data and tools, Data Stewards work with client’s data to perform cleansing and recommend updates based upon defined business rules.
  • Data Stewards follow clear guidelines and instructions for stewarding the client’s data.
  • Additional responsibilities include:
  • Perform research utilizing internal and external databases to determine Corporate Parent / Child relationships.
  • Analyze data issues found, and perform cleansing as required.
  • Provide on-going feedback to management of data issues and areas that require special attention.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree (or actively pursuing)
  • Experience with SAP Vendor Master or SAP Customer Master (desired)
  • Knowledge of Master Data principles and usage within an ERP system (desired)
  • Fundamental understanding of database methodologies (desired)
  • Detail oriented, good data entry, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communications
  • Eagerness to learn, follow directions, and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, and Word

Additional Information:

  • Rate: Based upon experience. Paid on billable time.
  • Hours: may require client onsite presence up to 20 hours per week. Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm US EST.
