Site Reliability and Maintenance Leader

The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Site Reliability and Maintenance Leader position available in Parkersburg, WV. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to Operations Director. The Site Reliability & Maintenance Leader will be a member of the site leadership team and will partner with the Plant Manager, Unit Managers, Technology Managers, Functional Leaders and other site leadership in strategy development.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop a site-level reliability strategy and associated resource plan that improves production capabilities and ensures efficient and cost-effective maintenance activities.
Oversee lost-time data collection process to ensure production metrics for reliability are captured and utilized for continuous improvement.
Provide leadership for the development of asset management plans, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and long-term maintenance outages.
Lead, teach and excel at Root Cause Problem Solving, Failure Mode and Affect Analysis, and Lean tools such as SMED.
Partner with the Engineering leadership to ensure that design for reliability is effectively integrated into the change management processes.
Develop an appropriate spare equipment and spare parts strategy to optimize production capability and working capital.
Ensure that work management processes for reliability and maintenance are being effectively utilized and improved.
Ensure that the CMMS is effectively integrated into Management of Change Processes, utilized, and improved in support of the work management processes.
Ensure long-term maintenance outages (TARs) are effectively planned and executed.
Utilize influence management with production, technology, and capital organizations to ensure reliability and maintenance organizations’ success.
Ensure site representation on corporate reliability and maintenance networks to influence development and local implementation of corporate best practices.
Support and advance Organizational Health within the reliability and maintenance community.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field.
At least 5 years of direct reliability and maintenance experience in manufacturing facilities.
Proven track record of leading change within a large manufacturing facility.
Experience setting strategies to achieve business directives.
Strong IT skills.
Strong Influence Management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :
Experience in project leadership/ management.
Professional Reliability Certification, ex. CRE, CRP, CRL, CMRP, RE Certificate.
Strong working knowledge of SAP-PM, SAP-MM & Maintenance Work Management Systems.
High Hazard Process manufacturing experience.
