Upper Diamond is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Los Angeles. CA based Learning & Development Project Manager. This position is multi-faceted and requires a hands-on and driven individual who has experience planning and implementing short and long term projects with unique objectives and deliverables. The individual in this position will ensure that high-quality, innovative, timely, and effective learning solutions are delivered that exceed the client’s expectations.

Requirements

Demonstrated history of analyzing, designing and developing engaging eLearning experiences, working with SMEs and team members and thriving in a collaborative environment and being a strong team player.
In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles, learning models, and adult learning theory.
Strong knowledge in eLearning course authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Presenter, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools preferred.
Establish learning objectives and create knowledge checks or assessment questions including situational or scenario based questions.
Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, setting milestones and managing communication between departments and internal/external executives
Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
Communicate timeline changes and new information to team(s); track project changes and adjust schedules as needed
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
Determine the resources (staff, equipment, etc) required to complete produce multimedia learning objects; audio, video, animations and simulations to enhance learning.

Create course objectives and content designs/storyboards with SMEs.
Produce pre- and post- recaps and reports, measuring KPI’s and drafting case studies
Help recruiting, hiring and developing staff to support ongoing resources needs
Nice to have

Provide research and analysis on trends in a specific marketplace or evolving technologies relevant to a client or to projects

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Formal education in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, Project Management or a related field.
Two to three years of eLearning development experience required.
Experience with an LMS functionality preferred
Demonstrated history of analyzing, designing and developing engaging eLearning experiences, working with SMEs and team members and thriving in a collaborative environment and being a strong team player.
Proven project management and production skills, and success in guiding and motivating cross-functional project teams on multiple assignments and projects
Superior computer skills; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, strong and thorough knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Projects, Gantt Pro, Smartsheets etc
Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Willingness and ability to do what it takes to see projects through to completion – often under tight deadlines
Highly detail oriented/proactive /self-directed
Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
Attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
Passion for information and learning – a fast learner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects
Detail oriented, a fact checker
Positive “can-do” attitude is a must

A Bonus If:
Experience in video production and knowledge of audio/video editing software a bonus
