PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position serves as a key member of the communications team, with external and internal functions. This includes serving as the day to day manager of the NTFB website and managing the analytics for each of the Food Bank's digital platforms. Tasks for this role include web support and updates, social media support and monitoring, as well as supporting our digital marketing efforts and online fundraising. This position aids the Communications Director in the daily task of ensuring the Food Banks digital footprint has the appropriate branded content and that each channel is functioning properly. Duties and responsibilities broadly support raising awareness about the mission of the organization, and directly support the Food Bank's fundraising efforts.

Key Duties

Serve as the primary web manager, making updates to the site as needed.
Create donation pages for specific appeals
Update content as needed for Food Bank microsite(s)
Serve as the content curator for the Food Bank blog
Support the internal communications of the Food Bank by curating the internal newsletter the Buzz
Create digital tool kits for Food Bank staff, individuals, corporate supporters or organizations that can be used to raise awareness of our mission
Create mobile optimized marketing emails
Ensure that constituent data is input into systems
Use A/B testing and analytics to gauge effectiveness
Support the social media efforts of the Food Bank, sharing related content and monitoring for comments from supporters.
Support the fundraising team by creating donation campaign on 3rd party sites such as Crowdrise and Causevox
Support the Food Bank programs and administrative teams with online form creation and management- support and innovate to help the Food Bank become more paperless and efficient.
Serve as the primary administrator for the Food Bank's Google Ad words and analytics
Create dashboards that showcase key metrics and analytics- noting performance year over year
Manage key vendor relationships as needed

BA or higher degree in, communications, marketing, emerging media, public or media relations or related field
of 2 yrs experience in one or more of these areas
Advanced understating of Content Management Systems
Blackbaud knowledge preferred
Advanced understanding of Google Products, especially Analytics, Adwords and other products
Understanding of how to create online forms
Understanding of how to create crowdfunding pages
Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Products
Exceptional verbal, written, & presentation skills
Project management skills
Highly organized, attention to detail, results oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs
Basic design/layout experience desired
Ability to creatively find solutions to challenges
Ability to anticipate, manage and resolve conflicts
Team player with leadership skills, abilities and desire to interact with people at all levels
Ability to work effectively with community partners
Must have access to a vehicle and be able to travel independently between multiple work sites
