Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems in the field. This role requires a strong understanding of codes standards, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installations, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Utilize logic controllers for system operations
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers for accurate adjustments
- Solder and weld components as needed
- Collaborate with the engineering team on projects requiring SolidWorks designs
- Assist in project scheduling and coordination
Requirements
- Proficiency in codes standards related to mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Experience working with logic controllers and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with soldering and welding techniques
- Knowledge of SolidWorks for design collaboration
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
