Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

Our Quality Technician shall enforce that all elements of food safety within the Quality Monitoring Scheme are being met. The Quality Technician will share any discrepancies with the QMS to their Supervisor or Quality Manager. These discrepancies are but not limited to HACCP programs, Allergen programs, Sanitation procedures, GMP findings, Foreign Material findings, and HOLD procedures. The Quality Technician will ensure that all regulatory, customer, and company quality initiatives are being met and maintained. This position is fast paced and requires basic math and reasoning skills.

This role can be mentally demanding and require a high level of stress. It also requires good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well on a team and with people from multiple departments.

Education, experience and training

High School Diploma or equivalent

3 Months of Quality Assurance Technician.

Must have good attention to detail and be able to spot defects on fast-moving production lines

Computer Knowledge- SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook.
