Internal Auditor

Formōs Resources has an immediate need for Staff and Senior-level internal auditors that are interested in temporary or contract engagements. In certain situations, these temporary assignments can convert to permanent opportunities either with our firm or our clients. To be considered for this position, you must have at least 1 year of internal audit experience either with a public accounting firm or with a business. Compensation with be commensurate with experience.

Internal Auditor Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial, operational, compliance (including SOX) and IT audits
  • Developing and executing audit programs
  • Communicate effectively the results of the audits
  • Assess controls
  • Improve operational effectiveness
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or Business Management required.
  • Advanced degree and CISA, CIA, and/or CPA certifications (or progress toward) preferred, but not required
  • 1+ year of internal audit experience. SEC experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel (varies with engagement)
