As the Manager of IGS’s Residential Solar business, you will be a leader of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. You will be responsible for managing critical functions of the business operations. This role entails managing a team of analysts who collectively run the day to day Residential solar business. As Manager, you will be charged with building a comprehensive knowledge of the Residential Solar Industry, and mastering the business processes that support IGS Solar’s core operations.
In addition, collaborating with senior leadership to scale the business effectively as we expand both volumetrically and geographically. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for a team of business analysts and charged with developing the team into seasoned business operators. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and deploy strategic initiatives based on market intelligence. Ensures effective internal controls are in place to run a lean business.
Reviews and audits current business processes in an ongoing effort to build a scalable and efficient business. Comply with investor agreements and industry best practices to create a world-class Solar financing and asset management company. Reviews work deliverables from the team to ensure accuracy, makes corrections when necessary, oversees operations and project management, provides coaching and mentorship in the disciplines of analytics. Collaborates with IGS’s Engineering, Procurement and Construction partner(s) to assist with sales, invoicing, PPA transfers, and customer support.
Works with Independent Engineers to facilitate Quality Assurance inspections of our Solar Systems. Monitors the performance of solar assets in the field, and assists the team in resolving solar asset related issues. Creates financial models, business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and conducts industry research and makes recommendations to senior leadership regarding strategy and tactics. Works closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to analyze the company’s financial statements and helps compile annual budgets.
Collaborates with IGS’s internal Marketing and Legal teams to manage and maintain customer contracts, EPC partner contracts, investor contracts as well as IGS Solar’s marketing collateral. Works closely with Information Technology team to understand IGS’s technology landscape including IGS’s proprietary Solar Financing and CRM platform. Acts as a catalyst for improvement by supporting the ongoing evolution of our tools, processes, products, partnerships, and operational activities that support the core Solar business. Supports the Billing & Collections teams to maximize Accounts Receivable, and deliver on financial targets.

Able to adapt, grow and thrive in periods of uncertainty in an ever-changing work environment. Minimum Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Economics, or other applicable field 5-7 years of business analysis, operations and project management experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience. MBA, BlackBelt, Management Consulting, or Operations background a plus Solar/Renewable Energy experience a plus Mastery level in all MS Office Applications (Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)
