The Team

The Turner Studios Live Events team is part of the 10th Street Productions group that collaborates with Marketplace Image + Experience, and our network partners/brands (Turner Sports, Cartoon Network, TBS/TNT, Adult Swim, TCM, Boomerang, truTV, CNN/HNL), to help develop and produce best-in-class corporate and live events, hospitality, conferences and meetings.

The Job

The Live Events Intern will provide assistance in the following areas:
Conduct event planning research and provide on-site support for live event(s).
Organize and cross-reference event documents including: registration/invite lists, travel itineraries and ticket order forms.
Provide office administrative support to the Live Events team including: organize event supplies, make document copies, write meeting recap notes, ship packages, etc.
Assist staff with written correspondence on a per event basis.
The Essentials
Interest in Live Events
Thorough computer abilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint
Excellent telephone etiquette and communications skills
Detailed oriented
Self-starter capable of working on several projects simultaneously
Strong oral and writing abilities

Spring 2020 program dates are January 13th through April 17th. Interns are paid a competitive wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
