This role is more than just coding. We need a software engineer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Microsoft-web technologies and open source software, you’ll work with the development team to build cybersecurity Risk Management processes and sensor data automation systems. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. 2 years of experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
3 years of experience with object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, including C#, Java, or C++
3 years of experience with version control, including Github
Experience with relational databases, optimization, scaling, and performance
Knowledge of web technologies, web applications, software systems and networks, and security
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with scripting languages, including Python or PowerShell
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Cloud hosting, and Systems Administration
Experience with web service and API development
Experience with Splunk
MA or MS degree
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
