Full Time Eligible 72 Hours per pay period. 7pm-7:30am. Every other weekend Required. Current Florida RN license required. Current BLS and ACLS cards required from American Heart Association. Minimum Five years experience in ED/Critical Care experience. The RRT RN assumes responsibility for facilitating early recognition and response to changes in a patient’s condition that will indicate deterioration. In collaboration with the bedside RN, the RRT will bring critical care experience and expert assessment skills to all clinical areas which the rapid Response Team serves. The RRT RN assesses, prioritizes, and initiates emergency measures when the rapid response team is summoned or during patient rounds. Additionally, the RRT RN responds to Code Blue in the role of Team Leader, among other medical emergencies, within the medical center. The RRT RN assumes responsibility for achieving RRT program and organizational goals, as well as maintaining practice standards. The RRT RN will also be responsible for inserting Cortrak feeding tubes, as necessary, on the Med/Surg/Telemetry Floors. The RRt RN will be responsible for collecting all Code Blue and RRT documentation. They will ensure data collection is clear, including drilldown of events, entering data into the database, and reporting data to the Code Blue/RRT Committee.
