Work you’ll do:
An opportunity exists for a Learning and Development professional to join the Deloitte Global HR – Talent Development team. This team is responsible for the learning and development of approximately 3,500 Deloitte Global professionals, including live milestone programs, accelerated development, digital/virtual learning, development, executive coaching, onboarding, strategic L&D projects, and learning analytics/operations.

The Learning & Development operations manager has broad and diverse responsibilities for managing all learning and development related programs and processes that support Deloitte Global’s strategic business objectives. This role reports to an L&D senior manager and will support the development and roll out of Deloitte Global milestone and accelerated development programs. In addition to program management responsibilities, which will expand in scope over time, the role is responsible for managing learning operations, onboarding, and the digital/virtual learning strategy. This role may also support other strategic talent development programs or projects as required.

Specifically, this role is responsible for:
Overall program & content ownership – be responsible for the business outcomes of all live and virtual programs delivered by Deloitte Global, as well as the design and development of any new programs or content.
Program management – oversee the development and roll out of our Deloitte Global leadership milestone & accelerated development programs, including program logistics, communications, project management, and program management.
Digital/virtual learning – oversee the development of our digital/virtual learning strategy for Deloitte Global, partnering with Global Learning and leveraging industry best practices.
Learning & development communication – oversee the strategy and implementation plan to enhance all program communication and branding efforts.
Onboarding – Oversee our onboarding strategy and partner with other Global HR teams to develop and implement a customized new hire experience for Deloitte Global
Learning operations and analytics/reporting – direct team leader responsibilities for program coordinators and dotted line reporting for two India-based team members responsible for learning technologies and ongoing reporting and learning budget processes for Deloitte Global professionals.
Consult and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clearly define requirements and deliver expected results for assigned programs/projects
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design and develop programs
Act as trusted independent advisor and subject matter expert by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice regarding learning & development programs/projects
Develop and oversee the implementation of project plans, timelines, milestones and key measures for assigned deliverables and communications of designated program/projects
Manage program roll-out, including plans for communications and change management to create awareness and drive adoption of specific programs or new processes
Ensure assigned deliverables meet project objectives and timelines, recognizing and managing dependencies between other projects and/or initiatives
Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate to senior management
Oversee the management of program logistics, delivery and follow-up (leveraging learning specialist team members)

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design or related field preferred
We are seeking a Manager level individual with 5-8 years of professional experience, with strong experience leading complex, multifaceted learning programs.
A minimum of 3 years in a role specifically focused on managing a team of learning and development professionals
Broader HR experience beyond the minimum years of L&D focus is a plus
Required Experience

Strong program delivery and program management experience required
Some instructional design experience required
Experience working with learning vendors and managing vendor relationships
Experience managing a small team; experience working with global, offshore resources a plus
Experience in corporate communications
Learning Management System (LMS) administration preferred
Technical Skills

Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word,
Experience working with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Saba Cloud) and virtual meeting software
Experience working with e-learning platforms and digital learning tools (e.g., Brainshark, Articulate, Storyline, Captivate)
Experience using knowledge sharing tools (e.g., Sharepoint)
Experience working with HR related systems and HR data (e.g., SABA, SAP, etc.)

Ability to work comfortably with senior leadership in a virtual environment
Ability to lead high performing teams
Strong organizational skills and project management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong business writing skills required
Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance
Ability to manage competing, high-priority demands in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change when presented with shifting priorities and deadlines
