What You’ll Get to Do:
You’ll be responsible for facilitating the process to collect, define and create Systems Development requirements and documents. Provide advice and recommendations on process best practices. Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. Work with development staff to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions. Interact and communicate with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel.
More About the Role:
The duties of the analyst will include: Documenting required artifacts for the Systems Development process – mostly based on Agile processes. Be the stake holder for ensuring all required artifacts are completed and documented. You will work with Project Managers, Developers and Testers to gather information and ensure that all processes and procedures are followed.
The analyst will help to create these processes and procedures and use best practices and suggest improvements where needed.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with technology, possess good analytical skills and superior customer service skills as well as be able to drive and take ownership of the processes. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with contracting and/or financial management staff to resolve issues, recommend solutions, and document system requirements. The candidate must be a team player, be willing to do what is needed to get the job done and have the capacity to learn and support a wide range of functionality. The candidate must also be articulate, be passionate and be an enthusiastic self-starter.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
Experience documenting Systems and/or Processes/Procedures
Experience working with a variety of technologies including: SharePoint, SQL Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience in planning project tasks and time management
Ability to work independently
Ability to develop system documentation and user guides
Team player, well organized, self-motivated, hungry and quick learner
Excellent analytical skills
Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple organizations in:
Resolving issues and developing recommendations
Developing system requirements and application tools
