## Overview
(Must be Licensed in Arizona) We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health care and providing support to patients in need.
## Duties
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists
- Monitor patients' mental health conditions and report any changes to the medical team
- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
## Qualifications
- Current RN license with psychiatric certification preferred
- Experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ventilate, dialyze, phlebotomize, suture, and assist in the OR
- Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures
- Experience in emergency medicine or home care is advantageous
- Proficiency in utilization review processes
