Position Summary: The Data Entry Associate (DEA) is responsible for the coding of invoices across Billy Casper Golf's portfolio of golf courses. Using Doc-Link, the DEA's duty is to accurately enter the proper dates, invoice amounts, invoice numbers and general ledger codes that the course GM has assigned for the expenses. Adhering to department standards while striving for 100% accuracy, this associate is the first line of review before the AP Associate will enter the information into our accounting system. This is a temporary position and will be 20+ hours per week beginning in April and running through August with the ability to work longer hours on an as needed basis. Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour.
Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:
10-Key experience is mandatory
Time management, especially the ability to organize and multitask
High level of attention to detail
Strong organization and administration skills
Previous experience in an office environment with data entry preferred
Able to concentrate and sit for extended times while coding invoice information
Computer proficiency of Microsoft Office applications
Accounting experience not required, but basic knowledge is preferred
Knowledge of Doc-Link is preferred but not required
Learn and utilize Doc-Link, an electronic workflow accounts payable software application
Code invoice information into Doc-Link utilizing appropriate general ledger codes
Ensure proper and accurate information is ready for booking invoices into Sage MAS500 accounting software.
Communicate with AP Associates and Accountants to ensure accurate and proper information is entered in a timely manner
Consistently meet month-end accounting department deadlines
Additional related duties as assigned
