ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Safety – work safely around the hazards associated with an industrial environment.
- Keep records of items entering or leaving the tool room
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of tools and equipment
- Inspect returned supplies for damage
- Troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to small tools as needed
- Replace or fix worn or broken tool and equipment parts
- Make adjustments to correct malfunctioning equipment and machines
- Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying codes
- Maintain levels of supplies to ensure maximum productivity of construction crews
- Notify appropriate leadership of the need to order new supplies
- Maintain inventories so that it can be located quickly and easily
- Store materials in bins, on floors or on shelves
- Lift objects of various weights and sizes
- Follow oral and written directions.
- Work within company policies (including Safety and Human Resources policies), client policy and OSHA safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.
