Key responsibilities of this role include:
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
Collects and analyzes sputum and blood specimens to determine infection and levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, Performs a variety of tasks.
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
- Associate's degree and credentialed as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) by the Arkansas Medical Board.
- Expected to maintain BLS and NRP certification.
