Kids First Affiliated Services in Blair County PA has an immediate opening for a full-time Home Visitor and Family Support Specialist. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and safely reunite families with young children after out-of-home placement.
The successful candidate will have excellent observation, assessment and family engagement skills, the ability to support and motivate families through meaningful change, experience with young children and families, reliable transportation, proficient computer skills, excellent clinical skills. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field required. This is a 40-hour per week position with some evening, weekend and on-call rotation work.
