Position Summary

Associated Eye Care is currently seeking a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager oversees the day to day marketing activities of the organization and is responsible for all internal and external communications, collection and analysis of market data and execution of marketing programs from start to finish. The Marketing Manager develops marketing programs for specific channels that build brand awareness, attract new customers, support business objectives, foster customer retention and execute on business development. Candidates must be able to work full-time and travel to the practice’s six locations located in the east Metro and western Wisconsin. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Essential Functions

Write copy for all marketing collateral, including newsletters, magazines, letters, e-mails, websites and social media avenues
Lead marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results and return on investment
Monitor overall spend versus budget, keeping accurate records and acting on variances
Develop new design concepts, graphics and layout
Identify and drive public relations initiatives and media outreach
Plan and implement promotional campaigns
Partner with external agencies and vendors, creative teams and internal stakeholders to achieve desired marketing results
Assist with management and organization of patient testimonials, including organization of video shoots
Develop marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics
Manage online reputation initiatives and patient relations
Assist in the organizing and promotion of company and community events and attend them to facilitate their success
Support business development activities, including provider to provider and business to business initiatives
Other Essential Functions

Must be willing and able to work a variety of hours and frequently travel to our various locations
Must present self at the workstation, ready for work, at the scheduled time
Participates in department and company meetings, as requested
Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications required
Experience

5 years of Marketing/Communications experience preferred
Previous experience in marketing healthcare preferred

Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
Critical thinking and high degree of maturity and professionalism expected
