Job Summary: The Evaluation Department Manager is responsible for ensuring all children referred for evaluation receive high quality, clinically appropriate assessments in accordance with state and county regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all reports submitted are of high quality and undergo quality assurance review

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the evaluation process in the various programs

Assist with supervision of all employees within the Evaluation Department

Assist with billing issues as needed and ensure timely payment for completed evaluations

Conduct daily department monitoring activities to ensure goals are met
-
Attend IEP and IFSP meetings
-
Conduct home and center-based evaluations and/or observations when necessary
-
Conduct professional development workshops as needed
-
Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the evaluation process

Conduct quality assurance audits

Communicate with various referral sources regarding pending cases

Other duties as assigned by Director
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Individual must hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist, Special Education (Permanentor B-2) or Master's in Social Work to ensure clinical competence.

Successful experience working in a high-volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook a must.
