PT Office/Customer Service Clerk (PM Shift)

This position will perform a variety of clerical tasks to support the fleet delivery and distribution function of the newspaper to include customer service duties and maintenance of daily/weekly reports.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, directing and solving inbound customer service calls

Making outbound calls

Tracking and recording attendance, employee hours, and work preformed

Transposing data, collecting data points, computing data results

Document, generate invoice, file, track and report against account receivables

Preparing documents for scanning

General filing

Provide office support to management

PM shift 2:00PM – 6:00 PM (20 hours per week) Monday through Friday

REQUIREMENTS:
Tools and Equipment: MS Office (proficient or better), Outlook and Internet (Proficient or better), general office equipment, and an ability to learn introduction to other software.

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred: Some post-secondary education in business or accounting preferred or equivalent work experience. 3+ year’s general office experience in a high paced work environment. Preferred experience in transportation or logistics. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Work experience preferred: customer service, general office experience, quality control, ISO or Lean Mfg experience.
