Ph.D. Degree in chemistry, polymer science, materials science, chemical engineering, physics, or other
appropriate academic discipline
Ability to use analytical methods for problem solving.
Ability to complete advanced analysis using available scientific tools and methods.
Desire to work in a “hands-on” environment.
Familiarity with the following techniques is desired:
o X-Ray fluorescence spectrometry
o Particle size analysis
o Thermoanalysis such as DSC, DMA, TGA, and TMA, Karl Fischer
o Rheology such as capillary rheometry, parallel plate, cone and plate, etc
o Microscopy, including SEM, mechanical and impact testing.
Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
