This position is a great learning experience at the Breen Technology Center that will take place during a student's winter break. Winter Lab Assistants will be assigned to a specific lab and mentor for a period of 4 weeks or more. Students will be active participants in the lab. This opportunity will allow them to gain experience in work groups, as well as working with other R&D professionals. This position requires previous lab experience with Sherwin-Williams, preferably as an R&D Co-op, Intern or Summer Lab Assistant.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D Degree in a science field
Must have a minimum of 2.8 GPA
Must be able to work 40 hours/week for a minimum of 4 weeks over winter break
Must have previous Sherwin-Williams lab experience
Currently pursuing a BS/BA in Chemistry is preferred
Access to local housing as well as reliable transportation is preferred
Previous experience as a Sherwin-Williams intern or co-op is preferred
