The Civil Engineering team's responsibilities include design, analysis, calculations and specifications for hydrology/hydraulics, sanitary and storm sewerage, storm water management, water treatment, potable water and other utilities for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project.
You will report to the Manager, Civil Engineering.
This is a 24 month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.

Providing support to the Civil Engineering team including design, analysis, calculations and specifications for hydrology/hydraulics, sanitary and storm sewerage, storm water management, water treatment, potable water and other utilities for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project

Provide support to Civil Engineering team members including project scope development, presentation of alternate design solutions, research, site reconnaissance, document preparation and field support for all phases of moderate to complex engineering projects.

Prepare and coordinate internal engineering project deliverables as a member of a multi-discipline facility projects team.

Understand and adhere to all local codes as well as corporate design guidelines and standards.

Understand the importance of engineering due diligence.

General knowledge of the civil engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of grading, hydrology/hydraulics, detention/retention ponds, sanitary and storm sewerage, potable water and utility coordination

Proficient in the use of Civil 3D

Good written and oral communication skills

Engineer-in-Training certificate preferred

Active membership in ASCE preferred

Graduate of an accredited engineering school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $69,946 to $93,830 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
