Indeed Hire has partnered with Heatherwood Communities to locate a Customer Service representative to join their team in Commack, NY.

A growing fast paced R/E Mgmt. firm is looking for a Customer Service Representative in our Residential Management Dept. A person in this position will answer a high volume of incoming calls from tenants in reference to their accounts and handle complaints.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist tenants with questions regarding their account
  • Set-up inspection with Super and tenant and prepare damage calculations.
  • Provide the leasing department with tenant cancellation information.
  • Prepare riders for paint, carpet, pet, upgrades, etc.
  • Document communication with tenant in Yardi.
  • Review and respond to all correspondence. Ensure correspondence is date stamped and scanned.
  • Coordinating with Super in setting up bank inspections and Section 8 inspections
  • Completing pool forms
  • Completing property bank questionnaires
  • Responsible for follow-up of lease violations
  • Responsible for completing rental verification's.
  • Responsible for maintaining Reasonable Accommodation Log.
  • Responsible for maintaining Pets Log.
  • Provide Leasing with tenant's information for non-renewals.
  • Assist A/R in reviewing renewal riders expiring leases, and security charges.
  • Prepare Termination letters and work with Legal on having tenants served.
  • Attend all site renovation meetings.
  • Prepare Notices for the field regarding construction, maintenance, etc.
  • Review unpaid charges report to prepare arrears letters to tenants.

Education and Experience:

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Experience working in a call center.
  • Experience handling difficult customers and/or situations.
  • Good computer skills and MS Office.
  • Professional verbal written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • YARDI experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.63 /hour
