Key Purpose

You will join a dedicated team of private equity professionals responsible for evaluating, analysing and sourcing secondary investments. As an intern at Coller Capital you will gain a broad cross-section of experience, including:

Conducting detailed sector and company research and analysis
Assisting on a broad cross-section of transactions, including due diligence, analysis, and valuing portfolio companies
Exposure to a wide variety of industry sectors
Working with a well-respected firm leading innovation in secondaries

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Our recruitment process is objective, rigorous and holistic. You will be requested to undergo aptitude tests related to your role, attend interviews in one of our offices to meet a number of your potential colleagues, and complete personality profiling questionnaires.

Qualifications & Experience

Successful candidates will have:
4-6 years’ experience in private equity, M&A/corporate finance, or leveraged finance, with an investment consulting firm, investment bank, fund-of-funds, pension fund, family office, or other investor/LP.
An excellent academic record
A good employment history, with outstanding achievements in your career to date
An established contact network in the relevant region of the world (Europe/Middle East for London-based roles; the Americas for New York-based roles; Asia-Pacific for Hong Kong-based roles).
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
A results-driven, ambitious approach
Strategic and commercial acumen
Fluent (written and spoken) English
