We’re looking for an Licensed Pharmacy Technician with great interpersonal and technical skills to join our Beacon team on a Full-Time basis. Beacon Prescriptions is a pharmacist owned pharmacy where a lot of wonderful customers shop, many of whom are long standing customers.
Position Summary
- Reading, interpreting and entering orders
- Filling prescription orders following pharmacy workflow (Pioneer pharmacy software)
- Demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of computer programs, changes, transaction processing, and rejection processing to ensure efficient pharmacy operation
- Observing and practicing confidentiality of resident information and privacy at all times
- Processes (corrects and resubmits) Rx claims for third party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
Position Requirements Friendly customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and providers Ability to multitask and balance a variety of responsibilities and tasks Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Must be proficient in basic math and English; Spanish speaking a plus
- Strong pharmacy computer knowledge. Knowledge of Pioneer software preferred
- Candidate will be evaluated during 90 day probation period
Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age required; HS diploma or equivalent preferred Pharmacy Technician: 1 years + (Preferred) Salary Very competitive hourly wage ($18-25/hr) Job Type Possible hrs (24-36 hrs/wk) Store hours: M-F 8a-6p, Sat 8a-2p Location: 57 South St. Bristol, CT
