We are looking for a motivated, driven, top notched attitude individual for a cross trained _ dual functionality of medical receptionist and esthetician. _
_ Do not apply if ONLY interested in esthetician services._
The position is hourly, and performance bonus only subject to overall growth of the practice, employee contribution and quarterly bonus.
There's no commission guaranteed for esthetician services provided.
Employment Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Able to follow detailed instructions and enforce operational policies
- Must have solid understanding and ability to use Excel, Ipads, and Computer Skills
- Answering telephones, emails, warmly greet patients
- Scheduling, Confirmation, and Booking appointments (i.e. Zocdoc, Email requests)
- Check -in and check -out of patients
- Collecting co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and explaining insurance benefits to customers
- Insurance verification, patient responsibility and estimates for office visits and procedures
- Processing referrals and coordination of care for new and established patients
- Scanning, data entry and general clerical duties
- Documentation of patient's chief complaint and medical visit
- Acting as a Scribe while the doctor completes examination of the patient.
- Must be a good communicator and team player who is professional with a great attitude.
- At least 1 year experience with EMR within a medical practice required.
- Phone calls, refill requests & among other responsibilities.
- You must be comfortable working on an iPad and/or general PC office computer programs, as well as having good time management skills.

- Need to be able to multitask and anticipate the needs of our patients and physician
- Solid understanding and ability to explain to customers basics of health insurance: co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, out of pocket expenses.
- A screening test on insurance basics will need to be passed in order to be considered for the position.
- Strong team player who is professional with a great attitude.
- Desirable but not required experience in dermatology, plastic surgery offices.
- Required 1 year or longer of medical practice experience, preferable independent medical practices.
- For college graduates with intent of applying to medical school or physician assistant school/nurse practitioner: we only consider applicants who have at minimum 2 years of gap year availability. If you are currently applying to professional school, we will not review your application due to limited availability for training.
.Medical Esthetician=-
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Providing skin care consultations for patients and setting up a regimen that compliment any prescriptions the doctor may have prescribed. The ability to explain how each product should be used and what it does.
- Knowledge and ability to perform Hydrafacial MD, a variety of basic superficial chemical peels
- Keeping a clean and sanitized work space and treatment room.
- Taking before and after photos using ipads and hydrafacial treatment.
- Cleansing and applying topical numbing cream to patients when needed.
- Keeping staff up to date on all skin care products we offer.
- Assisting the Medical Director in creating and planning events and specials.
- Communicating pertinent info to the marketing specialist to create promotional emails, social media posts, wall board info, and event flyers.
- Regular inventory counts. Including retail products and back bar products, ensuring we are always properly stocked.
- Keeping retail area clean and organized.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with patients.
- Creating retail and back bar orders, requesting approval from Medical Director and placing orders with appropriate supervision
- Opportunity for laser and other device training upon exceeding expectations on basic services provided

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
