As a Proofreader in our growing Marketing & Communications department, you’ll work on a variety of projects, from traditional print to digital, in a fun, fast-paced work environment. Work with some of the most elite Fortune and Global 500 clients as a valued member of our editing team. Proofreader/Editor Responsibilities

What you'll do:
Edit consistently at a high level, demonstrating expertise in proofing for typos and grammar, as well as editing/rewriting to ensure proper context, accuracy and format
Balance depth and speed in editing
Excel at time management, prioritization and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Be a subject matter expert on style, branding and grammar, including the Morley Style Guide, AP style and client-specific style
Be a strong communicator who truly enjoys helping everyone improve
Proofreader/Editor Qualifications

Required:
Obsessive attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3 to 5+ years' prior professional experience with proofreading and editing
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (design-related programs a plus)

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree
