Senior Systems Engineer
Provides implementation, optimization, administration, and technical documentation for all enterprise infrastructure systems with limited supervision. Performs research and troubleshooting to provide resolution for complex technical issues related to the server infrastructure, enterprise applications, and network services. Responsible for managing projects and IT functions that impact multiple departments/branches of the organization and the availability of mission-critical IT services. Contributes to policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements, meet compliance/security requirements, and meet the needs of end users. Performs a variety of other system administration tasks to ensure high availability of enterprise services and meet the technology goals of the organization.
Administer and maintain the Symitar financial system.
Administer and maintain Windows, AIX, and Linux operating systems.
Administer and maintain SAN (Storage Area Network) systems.
Administer and maintain various enterprise technologies including but not limited to Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, SCCM, VMware, and Citrix.
Administer and maintain data replication technologies and system backups.
Administer and maintain disaster recovery plans and disaster recovery quality assurance tests for the server infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
Administer and maintain ACL’s, anti-virus, anti-spam, host-based firewalls, internet content filtering, data loss prevention, patch management and various other security elements.
Maintenance of strategies for managing and ensuring all enterprise systems are within vendor defined licensing compliance parameters.
Implements systems requirements and technical baselines.
Actively maintains help desk tickets and provide thorough documentation for problem resolution of tickets.
Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
Utilizes The Member Advantage AIDINC system to identify potential member (internal or external) service needs which can be met through the sale of credit union products and services, or adherence to the department’s policy and procedures.

Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
Experience and Other Requirements:
One to three of similar or related experience.
MCSA certification or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience required.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Must be capable of working well with others and independently.
Must be able to perform all job functions with minimal supervision in a timely fashion.
Must be able to evaluate service requests and projects and prioritize as necessary.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality required.
Requires after-hours, weekends and on-call work as needed.
Some travel is required.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
MCSA or equivalent certification or must be willing to obtain certification within 12 months.
