ASSISTANT AIRPORT MANAGER
PER COUNTY RULES, THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT AT STEP 1, $63,918.40 ANNUALLY. COUNTY EMPLOYEES ARE SUBJECT TO THE COUNTY PROMOTION RULE FOR STEP PLACEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMP ORD 1.3.5.

The Assistant Airport Manager is a professional job classification primarily responsible for assisting management in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of County-operated airports. For additional information on this job class, please click here.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in airport/aviation management or a closely related field, AND three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in airport operations and management; OR,
Seven (7) years of increasing responsible experience in airport operations and management.
Qualifying experience or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

The names of qualified applicants will be placed on a twelve (12) month employment list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained in their employment and supplemental applications.
