Busy specialty clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and clinical skills are essential for success in our practice. This position is in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability to changing workflows as needed. The Medical Assistant will primarily be responsible for performing Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Pulmonary function testing
* Provide overall support for physicians and office management
* Prepares patients for examination and treatment
* Take patient history and vital signs
* Documents patient care in the EMR accurately and in a timely manner (eClinical experience helpful)
* Prepares exam rooms and stocks with supplies
* Reviews all information for accuracy and update when needed
